The Backstory cocktail – Episode 1: #Girldad

To accompany The Backstory, D’USSÉ global ambassador and mixologist Sullivan Doh has created a series of cocktails, inspired by each episode. As a new parent himself, he shares the recipe for #Girldad, which combines banana, rose water, apple juice and D’USSÉ with some freshly squeezed lime.


Ingredients
1.5 parts D’USSÉ VSOP
⅓ of a banana 
1 tbsp sugar 
1.5 parts apple juice
¾ oz/ 21 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
⅓ part Cortas rose water 
Apple fan or lime wheel for garnish (optional)


Method
1. Pour the D’USSÉ into a shaker, then add the banana. Muddle the ingredients together.
2. Once muddled, add the sugar, apple juice, lime juice, and rose water. Add ice and shake, shake, shake.
3. Strain into your glass of choice.
