The Soho House Istanbul collection offers a journey through the past, present and future of Turkish art
The Istanbul art collection is one of the most well populated of all the sites with more than 350 works on display. Featuring a cross section of talent working in the city at the time of the House’s opening, names include Tuba Yalcinkaya, Yuri Pattison, Cemil Batur Gökçeer, Kerim Can Ertug, Leyla Gediz, Seckin Pirim, Mehmet Dere, Özlem Altin, Arslan Sükan, Halil Koyutürk, Özlem Dalga, Ahmet Çerkez, Berkay Buğdanoğlu, Ergin Çavuşoğlu, Cemre Yeşil Gönenli, and Yusuf Sevinçli.
The House also has an impressive line-up of international talent, including David Salle, Julie Mehretu, Rachel Whiteread, Tacita Dean, Douglas Gordon, Walead Beshty, Christian Jankowski, Donna Huanca, Korakrit Arunanondchai, Lisa Brice, Cory Arcangel, Paul P, Gillian Wearing, Lawrence Weiner, and Fiona Banner.
