To ensure the safety and well-being of both our members and teams, we are implementing all the appropriate health and safety measures in line with government regulations.

Keeping you safe

To keep everyone safe and healthy, our team members will be wearing appropriate protection while at work, and you will notice screens installed at the member desks.
We have increased disinfection and cleaning of all high-contact surfaces, including tables, bars and door handles.
If you or your guest are feeling unwell, please do not visit the House.
On arrival, we ask you to use hand sanitiser provided by us, which is also available throughout the House.
We have rearranged areas in the House to ensure there is increased spacing for you, and facilitated one-way traffic wherever possible.
The Houses are cashless, so please ensure you pay by card or via House Pay, which can be activated in the SH.APP. For more information, visit

The latest government guidelines now require all members and guests to wear a face covering while moving around in the Houses, except for the bar and restaurant areas.

Member check-in and guests

It’s important that we know who is spending time at our Houses, so we will be collecting contact details of any guests arriving at the club. You will need to register your guests directly through the House Guest function in the SH.APP.
To ensure we can accommodate as many members as possible under the new social-distancing guidelines, you are only permitted to bring one guest to the House. Extended guest lists will not be possible at the moment. We will notify you as soon as this changes.
Children count as your plus-one unless they have child membership.

Facilities and opening times

The House will be open daily from Saturday 4 July with reduced seating capacity in line with government regulations.

Opening hours will be as follows:
Monday – Wednesday 8am – 10pm
Thursday 8am – 10pm
Friday and Saturday 8am – 10pm
Sunday 8am – 10pm
The lift can be used with a maximum capacity of two people.
we will continue our digital programming and have physical member events. Capacities will be limited and social-distancing guidelines will be in place to keep you safe. You can view and book all events through the SH.APP.
Laptops are permitted in all areas with the exception of the booths and the Snug until 6pm
These items cannot temporarily be stored, unless you are staying at the House.
The cinema will be open for a limited amount of screenings each week. Please visit the SH.APP to book.
The Diner is reopening on the 6 July.
