Behind the scenes at Giffords Circus

Take a look behind the scenes of the legendary Giffords Circus just weeks before its residency at Soho Farmhouse. Meet Giffords' producer and performer, Lil Rice, who provides insight into how she created The Feast, a new show ideated and produced during lockdown

Created on their farmland in the heart of the Cotswolds, Rice, director Cal McCrystal (whose credits include Paddington, Paddington 2 and One Man, Two Guvnors) and the cast collaborated to bring Feast to life. Inspired by Redentore – the celebrations that took place in Venice to mark the end of the plague in 1577 – discover how Rice and her team developed a joyful show and dining experience with their in-house restaurant, Circus Sauce.

You can also enjoy the socially distanced, all-singing, all-dancing show and dining extravaganza from 17-21 September at Soho Farmhouse. Enjoy lunch, afternoon tea or dinner at 12.30pm, 4pm and 7.30pm under the big top, while you watch Feast performances featuring horses, acrobats, live music and mischievous tomfoolery from Tweedy the clown.
