Spring is here, so it’s time to discover our latest House Favourites – at home or away

Thursday 6 April 2023   By Soho House

There are many reasons to be cheerful in April (hello, sunshine), and for our members and guests there are now several more – in the form of the brand-new menus that are coming to Soho Houses around the world this month and next.

Like the season itself, our new menu options are bright and fresh, with a focus on seasonal produce and considered flavour combinations. This includes the king of spring vegetables, asparagus, which will feature on menus on both sides of the Channel, in Paris and the UK (where the season officially kicks off on St George’s Day).

Elsewhere, the Banana Leaf Cod at our soon-to-open Miami Pool House has all the markers of a House Favourite in the making (as is the Mango and Cucumber Salad). Meanwhile, back in Europe, Salmon Tartare (Soho House Berlin), Salad Niçoise (Soho House Paris) and Spring Risotto (180 House) are just three examples of the seasonal stamp that’s being applied to some culinary classics.

Above, clockwise from top left: originating from Soho House Paris, asparagus with hollandaise to start; a Soho Warehouse speciality of Blue Prawns with kafir lime yoghurt and yuzu kosho for main course; Banoffee Tart for dessert from Soho House 76 Dean Street

Speaking of classics, our House kitchens are also offering fresh takes on old favourites (see Brick Chicken with spicy yoghurt dressing, as found at High Road House in west London), while others are taking to the road, including American favourite, the Taco Bowl, which will win over a whole new legion of fans now that it’s on the menu at Soho House 40 Greek Street.

Add to that loads of fresh seafood, from Black Cod Gyoza at Pen Yen to Miami Pool House’s take on Ceviche, and even more tasty veg (Soho House Berlin’s Baked Beetroot Salad), and we can’t think of a better reason to head to your local House to try something new.

Or how about taking the idea of a global menu literally, choose-your-own-adventure style? Our choice from the new spring offering would be Asparagus with hollandaise at Soho House Paris, followed by a main course of Blue Prawns with kafir lime at Soho Warehouse in Downtown LA, rounded off with a Banoffee Tart here in London at Soho House 76 Dean Street

Add one (or more) of our seasonal cocktails – our Rose Sangria is set to be the drink of the summer – and you’re good to go. Now, what’s for dinner?
