House Nights: Pen Yen White City opens with a cabaret night
Guests celebrated the launch of our third izakaya-style Japanese restaurant with cocktails, canapes and performances from Black Cat Cabaret

Pen Yen, our izakaya-style Japanese restaurant, has been a members’ favourite for some time. Having first opened at Soho Farmhouse in 2015 and Shoreditch House in 2021, you can enjoy dishes from the robata grill, a variety of delicately prepared sushi and sashimi, and a selection of moreish small plates – it’s the ultimate destination for an indulgent or comforting lunch or dinner. Last night, we hosted a launch party for the brand-new Pen Yen at White City House and it’s safe to say the special atmosphere was unmissable.
Located on the eighth floor of our west London outpost, the restaurant is decorated with dark velvet and panels with intricate bamboo drawings. It immediately feels like a decadent escape from the busy streets of London, right at the heart of the city. The entertainment for the night was provided by London’s legendary Black Cat Cabaret, who will host live music and performances every Saturday and Sunday. Guests including Bianca Saunders, Nicholas Pinnock, Azim Majid and Owain Arthur enjoyed cocktails and signature dishes from the Pen Yen menu late into the night.
Now that the restaurant is officially open, there’ll be plenty more exciting nights to come.
Pen Yen White City is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday for dinner, with brunch services on both Saturday and Sunday accompanied by live music and entertainment. Soho House members can book a table via the SH.APP.
