COS joins Soho House Stockholm for pre-opening celebrations
Members and guests welcomed our Swedish outpost to the city in style, complete with a performance by Lianne La Havas

It’s been an eventful month at Soho House Stockholm. First, the new club that’s located in a former church on Majorsgatan welcomed its first visitors for a pre-opening dinner and an evening with Vogue Scandinavia. Then last night, the much-anticipated pre-opening party took place, which doubled up as a celebration with COS.
COS hosted an intimate evening to highlight its partnership with international artist Liselotte Watkins. Based in Tuscany, Watkins started her creative career in fashion illustration and has since switched to pursuing fine art and painting after moving to Italy, following time spent in Milan and Paris. The latest series by Watkins, The Lonely Hunter, sits among the new COS store concept on Biblioteksgatan, featuring sustainable design and offering a gallery-like space that celebrates the brand’s inspirations from the myriad fields of contemporary culture.
On the night, Watkins discussed the ‘Aesthetics of Womanhood’ in an artist talk moderated by Michael Storåkers, Executive Chairman and Head of Contemporary Art at CFHILL.
Members, guests and friends of COS then later enjoyed the Soho House Stockholm pre-opening party, where they explored the club’s spaces, sampled House Tonics, and danced the night away to a live performance by Lianne La Havas, plus a DJ set by Kornél Kovács.
