Just weeks away from its official launch, founder members and local creatives gathered to celebrate our first Swedish House

Soho House Stockholm is opening its doors this winter. It is our second Scandinavian outpost after Soho House Copenhagen, and we’re already anticipating the creative hub it’ll form in the Swedish capital.
Last night, the Stockholm creative community gathered for a ‘Hard Hat Dinner’, part of the long-standing Soho House tradition of giving Founder members a sneak peek into the future club before the building work is completely finished. The House is located in a former church on Majorsgatan in central Stockholm, with plenty of its original features preserved. And while actual hard hats were not required this time, the chandeliers hanging from vaulted ceiling were still wrapped up and columns covered in cardboard.
Dinner was served by Cecconi’s – Soho House’s own Northern Italian restaurant, which will have a permanent space in the club – with global member favourite Spaghetti Lobster very much a star of the menu. Swedish singer Molly Hammar gave a special performance, which added to the overall warm and welcoming atmosphere.
