We believe that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not

The Soho House Foundation exists to provide resources to fund and empower creatives from underrepresented and lower socioeconomic backgrounds

The creative industries today don’t accurately represent our society. Underrepresented groups in the creative economy, based on ethnicity or socioeconomic background, face barriers to succeed.

As a global membership platform for creatives, we can see first-hand the benefits of providing opportunities for diverse talent to flourish. We’re passionate about using the knowledge and network we’ve built to open doors in the industry for people who are otherwise shut out.

The Soho House Foundation is an independent charitable entity set up by Soho House to fund and empower creatives to flourish by providing grants to organisations working worldwide.

The company has pledged to make an annual donation because we believe in a world where being a successful creative is a viable life choice, not just a privileged one. We’re excited to partner with programmes making that a reality.

Since the beginning of 2022 we have worked with 12 charity partners across North America, the UK, Europe and Asia, funding organisations that are doing brilliant work in the communities local to our Houses and members.

In addition to an annual grant programme, the Foundation works with carefully selected charity partners in local communities and to aid disaster relief.

Deafinitely Theatre, UK

PERLE SOCIALE, France

Under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Soamsawali, Dhammajarinee Witthaya School offers a safe home and free quality K–12 education to more than 1,000 underserved girls in Thailand.

P;ear, Portland, Oregon

p:ear has built a vibrant and compassionate community dedicated to supporting Portland’s homeless and transitional youth through programmes such as education, art and wilderness recreation.

Prison Radio Association, London

Prison Radio Association is the charity that founded National Prison Radio – the world’s first national radio station for people in prison, made by prisoners. It aims to reduce reoffending and prepare individuals for life after release.

RASAS, Istanbul

Recognising the power of art and creativity as essential rights, RASAS hosts art workshops dedicated to supporting and protecting refugees and vulnerable individuals.

Diverse City Studio, Hong Kong

Diverse City Studio is dedicated to supporting Thai immigrants in Kowloon City through the performing arts, as well as offering programmes that empower Thai children through community theatre.
