Nashville member and British supermodel Karen Elson, who is one of fashion’s most iconic redheads, has spent lockdown completing and publishing her debut book, The Red Flame. This illustrated memoir chronicles her arc from a childhood in northern England, where she endured merciless bullying and struggled with an eating disorder, to her rise to fame as one of the industry’s most unique faces. In this video with fashion publicist, friend and fellow Nashville member Libby Callaway, she takes us behind the scenes of five memorable photoshoots from her twenty-year modelling career.

Follow along as she shares the stories of the legendary fashion folk she has collaborated with – from photographer Steven Meisel and makeup artist Pat McGrath to her 'ginger fairy godmother', stylist Grace Coddington.
