The mixed-media digital artist and Soho House Mumbai member shares some of her latest work

Combining dystopian futurism and cyberpunk aesthetics with Eastern symbology, Sam Madhu’s recent projects include 3D/ CG art, digital illustration, animation, art direction, set design, and immersive installations. She has worked with clients such as adidas Originals, ACRONYM, Reebok Classics, GMBH, Samsung, and more.

‘Soho House Mumbai is definitely my favourite Soho space,’ she says. ‘I would be there at least three days a week back when I lived in Bombay. I met many of my friends and collaborators there. We fondly remember it as a place where we made the craziest ideas come to life, while sipping cocktails and watching the sunset over Juhu Beach.’

Below, check out two of her recent projects:

GMBH 3D concept film:
‘A dystopian, futuristic Eastern world – for the launch of Berlin-based label GMBH’s newest sneaker drop with ASICS.’

Single Brown Female:
‘An IGTV short. No inspiration in particular – I just like making animated clips like these in between my regular projects, because it feels good to talk about my existential crisis – especially when I know other people are going through similar situations.’
