A statement saying We hear you we see you we stand by you.
We want to express our commitment and pledge to stand in solidarity with our Black colleagues, members, and collaborators around the world. There is no place for racism in any of our Houses.

In the 25 years since our opening, we have refrained from speaking about politics, but we are clear this is not a political issue — this is about human rights. Over the coming days and weeks, we will be using our platforms to raise awareness and share the creative expressions of our members on these issues. We must do our part by standing up to racism, hate, and social injustices.

Soho House is donating to the below funds:

· George Floyd’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral costs, legal fees and to support his family, including his young children: https://www.gofundme.com/f/georgefloyd

· Communities United Against Police Brutality, which offers legal, medical, and psychological resource referrals against police brutality: https://www.cuapb.org/what_we_do

· ACLU: An organisation dedicated to defending and preserving the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in the United States by the Constitution and laws of the United States.

We strive to use our platform to highlight the stories of our creative members, but at this moment of reflection we know that we can do better in supporting the black community. We are committed to focusing the spotlight on the black voices within our membership and  recognise that this goes beyond a moment. Please send us your thoughts and ideas at editorial@sohohouse.com

Soho House stands with our global teams and members, now and always. We are committed to making Soho House an inclusive and safe place.
