Miami Freestyle night with Secret Society at Soho Beach House

Last night members gathered at Ocho for a live performance by Secret Society. In the late '80s, if you turned the radio dial to any Miami dance station, you were likely to hear Secret Society. The synth-pop group, cofounded by Rudy Gil and Frank Lords, that combined British alternative pop and Afro-Cuban percussive beats. Mastering the New Wave '80s feel while still staying true to the Miami Freestlye sound, the result was a string of club and radio hits that shaped the duo's legacy as pioneers of Miami freestyle music. After more than two decades, Secret Society performed live at the Beach House.
