Everything you need to know about Soho House Bangkok | Soho House

It’s official: Soho House Bangkok is set to open its doors from December 2022. The opportunity to become part of Bangkok’s cityscape – with its shimmering high-rise skyline, elegant gardens and incredible flavours across both its street food and Michelin-star dining scenes – marks a milestone moment for us. Not just because it is our first ever opening in South East Asia – but because we can’t wait to collaborate with and be part of the bourgeoning Krung Thep (as Bangkok’s name in Thai is known locally) creative scene.

Soho House Bangkok offers a dedicated space to the loyal existing Cities Without Houses members – those in the local creative community who joined to meet likeminded others and to access Soho Houses, bedrooms and Studios when they travel internationally. Working together with these existing members, we aim to create a club that is truly representative of the local creative scene – a new fixture in the city for those driving culture forward.

What is special about Soho House membership in Bangkok?

The House is located in the former Eugenia Hotel building in the Sukhumvit neighbourhood. Set over three floors, it will create a space for members to socialise, connect, collaborate, enjoy food and drink, and exciting cultural programming.

While each of our 38 international Houses is individually tailored to the city and location it’s in, every one of them shares the same goal – to create a home away from home for members; an environment in which to be inspired, and a chance to experience creativity on your own schedule. Soho House Bangkok will continue this tradition, with its own unique spin. A typical day might begin with breakfast and a few meetings, with afternoon drinks by the pool; then dinner in the House Kitchen followed by a gig or a panel discussion in the lounge bar. It will, in other words, be the ultimate day-to-night location. Moreover, members of Soho House Bangkok will have access to all the Houses around the world – for travelling, and fostering connections and collaborations beyond borders.

The first look at the design and member spaces

Members enter the House through the reception area and atrium to find a bright and airy Garden Bar, which offers an outdoor space to relax and enjoy a drink. The nearby Lounge Bar, with its darker coloured tones, is suited for evening drinks and light bites. Both bars open up onto the Pool Garden, with its lush greenery and chequered marble flooring, which extends to the 12-metre pool.

On the first floor, the House Kitchen will serve Soho House classics as well as local recipes developed especially for Bangkok. There is a spacious dining room indoors, as well as an outdoor terrace beneath an intricate rattan awning. Two private dining rooms are available for members looking to host larger group events at the House.

On the second floor, an intimate lounge bar and event space will play host to events carefully curated by the Soho House team across music, film, fashion, art and more, ensuring the House becomes a creative focal point within the city. Furthermore, as the new home for a cutting-edge Thai cultural scene, the House will platform emerging talent, encourage collaboration and – ultimately – be a place members always look forward to returning to.

Membership at Soho House Bangkok will cost ฿135,000 a year for access to all Soho House locations globally, and ฿78,000 a year for access to Soho House Bangkok only.

Founder members and Under-27 members will pay a reduced rate.
