Scandinavia is known for many things: chic, minimalist fashion; simple, stylish interior design, and all things hygge. And, these days, it’s also home to our two Nordic outposts, Soho House Stockholm and Soho House Copenhagen. Alongside providing hubs for the local creative communities, each House also offers a unique space to unwind, grab some food or catch up with friends over drinks while you’re visiting the Scandinavian capitals.

We know these cities are at the top of your travel lists – and rightly so. That’s why we’ve partnered with two local hotels to make it easier for Soho House members and Soho Friends to create a home base just a stone’s throw from each of our Houses. Even better, we’ve secured exclusive member rates for you to enjoy for the duration of your stay: 25% off for Soho House members and 15% off for Soho Friends.

In Stockholm, members can stay at Villa Dagmar, and over in Copenhagen, Hotel Sanders will open its doors. It’s simple to book. Just like you would book a bedroom at our Houses, choose which hotel you’d like to stay at from the list on the app or via our website, alongside the dates you’ll be travelling. You’ll be taken to the website of the hotel and your reduced member rate will automatically be applied.

Stockholm: Villa Dagmar

Taking inspiration from classic Italian design and giving it a distinctly Scandi twist, Villa Dagmar is a luxury boutique hotel just a couple of streets away from our Stockholm-based House. Mirroring our support for local artists – Soho House Stockholm’s art collection comprises of more than 70 pieces by artists born, based or trained in Sweden – Villa Dagmar plays host to a rotation of some of the brightest names in the art world. The current exhibition by Paris-based artist Vee Speers sits alongside a permanent photo exhibition by Martin Sundström, which is on display at Restaurant Villa Dagmar and Bergsten.

With a fully equipped gym and spa offering a range of beauty and holistic health treatments, including a gong bath and sound healing, Villa Dagmar’s wellness centre will ensure you feel right at home. The hotel also plays host to Gazebo, a concept store filled with a curated selection of homewares, accessories, books and more. Each room or suite also has stunning views of one of the hotel’s courtyards or overlooks Stockholm.

Copenhagen: Hotel Sanders

Just a five-minute walk from Soho House Copenhagen, which sits on the Nyhavn canal waterfront, Hotel Sanders offers a relaxing escape in the centre of the city. Decorated in muted tones – all calming greens and blues – with mid-century modern furnishings, each room blends luxurious details with a cosy, comfortable feel (a distinctly Danish way of doing things).

The hotel finds its home in a chic, five-storey townhouse, tucked away down a cobbled street that offers surprising amounts of tranquillity. For members new to the city – or those just looking to explore their surroundings a little more – there are curated guided tours around Copenhagen. Follow in the footsteps of King Christian IV with a tour of the many architectural feats built during his reign, or take a behind-the-scenes look at the Royal Danish Theatre, home to The Royal Danish Ballet. Whatever you choose, finish up with a delicious lunch on the waterfront terrace of Soho House Copenhagen.
