Because late nights, travel, and stress can all take their toll on our health and wellbeing – and, in turn, our skin – Soho Skin’s simple formulas are intended to tackle the effects of modern living. And all without overcomplicating your skincare routine or overworking the skin.
Joining this line-up is our newest product in the Soho Skin range. Hydrating Gel-Cream has a silky formula that offers long-lasting hydration, with ingredients that not only moisturise but also enhance barrier function – helping to sealing in natural hydration on the outermost layer of your skin. The results are plumper and smoother-looking skin, with clinically proven 24-hour hydration.
‘The consistency of the Hydrating Gel-Cream means you can layer up as much or as little as you would like, depending on the type of skin you have,’ explains facialist and Soho Skin consultant, Rhian Truman. ‘That also means it’s an ideal formula to adapt to your skin’s changing moisture levels throughout the seasons.’
With an impressive list of ingredients (below), new Hydrating Gel-Cream promises to help boost skin health over time, too, with 91% of people in clinical tests agreeing that skin appeared more hydrated after using the Hydrating Gel-Cream for six weeks*.
Inside the jar
Soho Skin Concentrate
Serving as the base formula for the products in our Soho Skin range, Soho Skin Concentrate features three hero ingredients: lactococcus ferment lysate, a strengthening postbiotic that helps accelerate the skin’s natural renewal process; glycogen, which works to restore vitality of skin cells; and pistacia lentiscus gum, an antioxidant derived from tree resin that encourages natural collagen and elastin production.
Mushroom-derived vitamin D
Vitamin D helps to support the skin’s barrier function, thanks to its soothing, anti-inflammatory properties.
Acetylated hyaluronic acid
As a humectant, hyaluronic acid absorbs and retains moisture, leaving it feeling smoother and more hydrated. This advanced form of hyaluronic acid is able to penetrate the skin more deeply and effectively than traditional forms of the ingredient.
Sourced from the Baltic sea, this marine extract uses antioxidants to help protect skin cells from environmental damage caused by things like pollution, blue light and sun exposure. It also works to boost the hydrating benefits of the acetylated hyaluronic acid in the formula.
Hydrating sugar complex
This complex blends together three sugar compounds – xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol and xylitol – to helps to boost skin hydration by enhancing its water retention properties.
