From elevated massages to sophisticated facials and stress-reducing acupuncture, these are the treatments to check out across our Houses right now

Nothing says self-care quite like carving out some time for a little wellness boost. And what’s sweeter than a day of indulgence? A day of indulgence at the very best rate, of course. Soho House and Soho Friends members can take advantage of member rates on spa treatments at Cowshed all year round. And many of us our spas are also open to non-members; you can find out about all of our locations here.

Right now, we’re also offering 25% off your bedroom rate at selected Houses with spas until the end of March (when you book for two nights or more), so that you can turn that spa day into a truly relaxing weekend. If you need some inspiration for your trip, these are some of our favourite treatments on offer.

Soho House Amsterdam – Deep Tissue Massage

Sometimes, the tried and tested treatments are the very best, and the team at Soho House Amsterdam’s Cowshed spa are specialists in the classic Deep Tissue Massage. Using firm pressure to release built-up tension and tightness held deep within your muscles, your therapist will work closely with you to find and focus on the areas of your body that need the most attention. Choose from an express 30-minute massage all the way through to an indulgent 90-minute session, elevated with the scent of a relaxing blend of essential oils.

Best for: easing your aches and pains.

Soho House and Soho Friends members can book treatments at member rates via the Soho House app. Non-members are also welcome at our Amsterdam spa and can make bookings here.

Soho House Berlin – Soho Skin Mini Glow Facial

Berlin is the home of great nightlife – and if you’re in the market for an instant glow ahead of your weekend plans, look no further than the Soho Skin Mini Glow Facial. In just 30 minutes, your therapist will help you to get your game face on, with a replenishing and energising facial filled with supercharged products from our Soho Skin range. Expect instant radiance that will last.

Best for: a last-minute glow-up.

Soho House Rome – GUAM® Full Body Cellulite Seaweed Treatment

Lessen the appearance of cellulite; firm and brighten the skin; reduce water tension and swelling… this treatment lives up to the big claims it makes. That’s thanks to a method that uses cellulite-reducing seaweed sustainably harvested off the shore of Italy alongside ‘lipoactive nanospheres’, which regulate the production of new fat cells. For optimum efficacy (and a surprising amount of relaxation), the treatment begins with a full body scrub, followed by a massage.

Best for: something completely different.

Soho House members can book treatments at member rates via the Soho House app. The spa at Soho House Rome is not open to non-members, and only open to Soho Friends members when staying in a bedroom. More information can be found here.

Soho House Barcelona – Lava Shell Massage

Incorporating heated lava shells alongside traditional massage techniques, this treatment promises deep muscle relaxation and natural pain relief. Bypassing the typical ‘one size fits all’ approach, your therapist will manipulate the placement of the shells to meet your needs, focusing on any areas of tightness and pain. This isn’t your ‘run of the mill’ massage.

Best for: the massage connoisseur

Soho House Istanbul – Traditional Hammam

Within a beautiful Turkish hammam hidden behind the doors of Soho House Istanbul, this treatment offers a plethora of immune system-boosting, relaxing and skin-smoothing benefits. Choose from the Traditional Hammam (a full body scrub with an exfoliating kese mitt, followed by a full foam massage with lavender soap), or the Cowshed Hammam (a body scrub using natural sea salt, followed by a fresh body mask of your choice). Both treatments end with a complete hair wash using Cowshed products.

Best for: a return to the traditional.

Shoreditch House – Signature Five Element Acupuncture with Ross J. Barr

One of the most ancient forms of traditional Chinese medicine, the Five Element Acupuncture theory goes that the mind, body and spirit are deeply connected to the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. If the energy of these elements are out of balance, so too will your physical, mental or spiritual wellness. By rebalancing these elements, registered acupuncturist Ross J. Barr is able to ease stress and anxiety, regulate your sleep and help with potential fertility problems.

Best for: a balanced start to 2023.

Babington House – Mud Treatment (for two)

What’s better than soaking in detoxifying mud for an hour? Doing so in the company of your other half, of course. Unique to Babington House’s spa, this relaxing treatment relieves sore muscles and joints, while drawing out any impurities from the skin and offering a gentle exfoliation that will leave you feeling silky smooth. Babington House Assistant Spa Manager, Chelsea Gregory, recommends following this up with a stint in the Jacuzzi hot tub for a truly relaxing finish.

Best for: a romantic hour.

Soho House members can book treatments at member rates via the Soho House app. The spa at Babington House is not open to non-members, and only open to Soho Friends members when staying in a bedroom. More information can be found here.

Soho House Chicago – The Meltdown

Prepare for 90 minutes of me-time. This unique treatment begins with guided deep breathing, before an indulgent full body massage using Prospect Farms’ lavender CBD oil to help you unwind from head to toe. Many of us hold tension in our face – which is why your therapist will spend some time here, helping you to unclench that tight jaw and massage around your eyes and temples. Some final deep breaths and a CBD-infused elixir bring your relaxing session to an end.

Best for: reconnecting with yourself.

Soho House and Soho Friends members can book treatments at member rates via the Soho House app. Non-members are also welcome at our Chicago spa and can make bookings here.

Soho Beach House Canouan – Foot Massage

While this may not always be at the top of the wellness agenda, having your feet massaged has plenty of unexpected benefits, from boosting circulation to encouraging better sleep. In just 30 minutes, this treatment – which features Cowshed’s range of calming, natural products – can help to promote full body relaxation (though perhaps not if you’re really ticklish).

Best for: a quick-hit of calm.

Soho House and Soho Friends members can book through the Soho House app. Non-Soho House members can book via email or telephone.
