The new music nights coming to a House near you

Music plays a big role in our Houses around the world. Each week, they host a programme of live events for all, from relaxing jazz and exciting up-and-coming acts to high-energy DJ sets that provide the soundtrack to your Saturday night.

Beginning this month, we’ve given our music series a makeover, with a line-up of new and refined events that you’ll see regularly on the calendars of all our Houses. So, whether it’s Acoustic Sounds in Austin or a House Party in Paris, you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for, wherever you are in the world.

‘The launch of these new music nights will bring a wider range of events to members, showcasing all of the different genres we’re booking,’ says Soho House Global Head of Music, Dom Chung. ‘There’s something for everyone to discover and enjoy.’

House Jazz
Spotlighting a mix of local jazz talent and international artists in intimate spaces around the Houses, these events celebrate the joy and experimentation of the flourishing global jazz scene. We’ll be kicking off proceedings with a performance from Gregory Porter at Soho House New York on Tuesday 27 February. 

Secret Soho Sounds 
With surprise appearances from musical greats, Secret Soho Sounds features unmissable performances, in partnership with Patrón. Previous acts have included Aitch, Sugababes, James Blake, and Questlove. These events are first come, first served and signing up for them doesn’t guarantee entry, so be sure to arrive early to avoid disappointment. 

Club Sounds
Celebrating some of the best talent in dance music around the world, Club Sounds brings innovative and specialist DJs into the Houses for one-off performances. Our first event in the series took place in Soho House Paris on Saturday 17 February with Moodymann and Carl Craig, and future events will include the likes of Kerri Chandler, Erol Alkan, Moxie, and Shanti Celeste.

Acoustic Sounds
Giving international touring acts and hand-selected local artists the opportunity to go back to basics with wholly acoustic shows, Acoustic Sounds features stripped back sets in some of our most intimate settings around the Houses. Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor was our first performer in this series, taking to the stage at Soho House New York. 

House Party
Our signature party series, House Party promises high-energy nights as we invite our favourite DJs and local collectives into the clubs for special, late-night House takeovers. 

House Sessions
Whether its cover bands, gospel choirs or standalone performances, House Sessions features the best in live music. Performances cover a wide range of acts, genres and styles – all carefully curated to bring members something new.

Soho Selectors
Shining a light on the local music scene of our Houses across the world, Soho Selectors sees DJs who are at the cutting edge of their genre get behind the decks to provide the evening’s soundtrack.

Soho Presents
Bringing headline talent into the Houses, Soho Presents – supported by Bacardí – spotlights acts in a way that members have never seen before. Previous performances in the series have included Erykah Badu, Ms Lauryn Hill, Joey Badass, Macy Gray, Sister Sledge, and Kaytranada. 

Soho Rising
Our platform for championing the best emerging talent in the industry, Soho Rising events are where members can catch up-and-coming acts who are set for big things. Past performers have included Arlo Parks, Griff, Joy Crookes, Yussef Dayes, and Holly Humberstone.

Sunset Sessions
Taking us to the rooftops of the Houses, Sunset Sessions invites musical acts to perform against the backdrop of the evening sunset. Grab a Picante and enjoy the golden hour sounds.
