Black Butter Records takeover
A joint venture between Henry Village, Joe Gossa and Sony Music Entertainment, Black Butter Records is the label behind some of the most exciting new British talent, including Octavian and Young T & Bugsey. For the first time, we are handing over the soundtrack for Shoreditch House, and Black Butter Records has curated an exclusive playlist featuring BIPOC talent. Head to the Roof of Shoreditch House on Friday and 10th floor of White City House on Saturday for Picante o’clock from 4pm to hear the mix of Lianne La Havas, J Hus and KAYTRANADA, or bring the sounds home and listen to the full playlist here

Steam Down
Every Thursday this month, we’re transforming the Sitting Room into a jazz club with a residency from Steam Down – the artist collective and music community based in Deptford, south-east London, which will bring the best up-and-coming talent on the scene.

Founded by multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Ahnansé in May 2017, Steam Down was created to connect London-based musicians and producers. Since then, it has evolved into a weekly event where Steam Down artists and its extended musical family generate spontaneous sonic soundscapes reflecting their lives in the city. So, each Thursday promises to offer a completely new experience.
