Celebrate International Women’s Day with this empowering playlist

For International Women’s Day, we’ve enlisted the help of one of the UK’s leading broadcasting and presenting talents, Arielle Free, to compile a playlist featuring female artists and producers pioneering pop and electronic dance music right now. 

A prominent figure and driving force in the dance music world herself, Free currently hosts BBC Radio 1’s Early Breakfast show and is the leading daytime DJ on Radio 1 Dance. She’s also a music producer and the owner of Free Your Mind – a club night and record label. Their recently released, no-nonsense house stomper ‘Release I Need’ (featuring Kelli-Leigh) is included on the playlist, alongside the likes of LP Giobbi, TSHA and Nia Archives.
