Soho House’s Black History Month playlist by Magna Carda
The Austin-based hip-hop legends share their favourite Black future-inspired tracks

Genre-bending duo Megz Kelli and Dougie Do – aka Magna Carda – are undisputed leaders on the Austin hip-hop scene. So, who better to ask to curate Soho House’s playlist in honour of Black History Month than the legendary music producers? Happily, they obliged.
‘We chose to lean into the Black future for this playlist,’ they tell us. ‘It features tracks by Black musicians and performing artists who push the boundaries of sound and songwriting, presenting us with an alternate reality and way of seeing and feeling.
‘These songs, penned and produced by our fellow Black artists, open a portal to escapism and surrealism, and take us through a hopeful journey to a bright and sonically imaginative Black future.’
