Soho House Holloway is a quiet escape tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. Whether you’re winding down in the Sitting Room, eating tacos on the rooftop or taking a client out for coffee, it has plenty to offer from morning until night.
The Atrium
Recently redecorated with greenery and wire-back chairs, the open-air Atrium resembles a European bistro-style restaurant and transforms from a calm oasis by day to a social hub by night. Whether you’re having a business lunch or dinner with friends, the food alone is worth stopping in for. Serving an ‘Around the Houses’ concept menu, the kitchen recreates some of the signature dishes from Soho Houses across the world, including Grilled Meatballs from Soho House Istanbul and Chicken Karaage from Soho House Hong Kong, which are loved by members worldwide.
The rooftop
If you’re looking to truly escape from the city, then the rooftop is your go-to spot. Offering views of Los Angeles, the newly refurbished hideaway is designed to feel like a garden, and features plants and flowers draped around vintage outdoor furniture. But it’s not all about the botanical decor – the Mexi-Cali food is sought after by local and international guests alike. Created by Soho House Holloway’s Executive Chef Jose Dozal, he used his Guadalajaran grandmother’s recipes as a base for many of the dishes, including the popular Carnitas Tacos. There’s also a lively happy hour five nights a week featuring House-specific cocktails, which is a hit in the warmer months.
The Parlor
This is where our community really comes together. Featuring a piano, the Parlor has recently been opened up and planned so that every seat has a clear view for performances. Groups gather and enjoy live gigs including jazz bands, solo artists and DJs held five nights a week, and on the other evenings there are Games Nights with retro favourites such as dominoes and board games. In the daytime before 6pm, it’s a comfortable working space where people can use their laptops and grab a coffee.
The club
Made for lounging, relaxing or simply hanging out with friends, local members often come into the main club for a comforting respite away from the bustle of Los Angeles. The open-plan layout features a Sitting Room adjacent to the Parlour and the Atrium, creating an authentic sense of ‘home’. There is also a cosy Library where you can read a book or do some work hidden away from the rest of the club.
