Spend morning, noon and night at Soho House Berlin
From breakfast in bed to a sunset cocktail on the rooftop, our House in the Mitte district has everything you need to spend a day your way

Set over eight floors of a restored Bauhaus building with a rooftop pool, restaurants and bars, screening room, Cowshed spa, and well-equipped gym – not to mention 65 bedrooms, 20 apartments and four lofts – Soho House Berlin is a hub for the city’s creative community.
In fact, many members spend time in the space from morning to night, waking up in the newly refreshed bedrooms, taking in the 1970s-inspired interiors, dining at Cecconi’s or enjoying dishes from the House menu served in the club space.
So, whether you’re visiting from around the globe, or simply relaxing, socialising or working among your fellow members, there’s plenty to do around the House in the German capital. Here’s how to spend the day there.
Breakfast in bed
Each of the recently refurbished bedrooms within the House offers a comfortable and inviting place to stay – whether you choose a Tiny bedroom with views over the courtyard, or an open-plan Extra Large bedroom, complete with a lounge area, dining space and freestanding bath.
‘One of the most popular bedrooms with our members is number 79,’ says House Manager Eduardo Picazo. ‘It has amazing high windows and, with views of the city, the emperor-size bed is the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee and take in the sights of Mitte.’ For members enjoying a longer stay at the House, Picazo recommends one of the four lofts, each with fully equipped kitchens and spacious living areas.

A revitalising workout
The gym at Soho House Berlin features state-of-the-art TechnoGym and Life Fitness equipment, as well as impressive views over Berliner Fernsehturm (also known as the TV Tower). The programme of classes features something for everyone – from regulars like House Sculpt and Soho Sweat, to unique offerings such as Contemporary Flow, a dance class that focuses on self-expression as much as fitness. Rina Ceitlina, Head of Membership & Communications, recommends booking one of the guided meditation or breathwork sessions; ‘they’re a big hit with members,’ she says. ‘Berlin can be a busy city, and these classes are a way for our members to reset and relax.’
Karl Schneegans, Assistant Cowshed Manager, always finishes his workout with a shake from the gym bar. ‘I choose the tropical smoothie with coconut milk and protein powder,’ he says. ‘It’s a great post-workout boost and it tastes just like a milkshake.’
Lunch at the club
When lunchtime rolls around, Zhané Hylton, Content and Communications Manager for Europe, suggests the club’s seventh floor, which is full of natural light. ‘For more formal dining, grab a spot in the House Kitchen,’ she says. ‘Both the sage-green booths or the marbled tables can be reserved in advance for larger groups. Light music and the buzz of conversation can be heard throughout the day.’
‘For something more casual, there are plenty of sofas and chairs surrounded by lots of foliage – ideal for lunch with friends or a solo bite to eat,’ she says, ‘There’s also the terrace if the sun is shining. I’d suggest ordering the Veal Schnitzel; it’s really popular with our members.’
Unwinding at Cowshed
Spend the afternoon at the House’s Cowshed spa, based on the lower ground floor, to fully relax. Alongside facials, manicures, pedicures and massages, the space is home to a traditional hammam – one of only two in our Houses around the world – complete with a fountain.
The experience begins in the relaxation room, where you can sip fruit-flavoured water as you switch off from the hustle and bustle of the city. Then, sit back and enjoy a cleansing and calming hot steam in the hammam. Follow this with a salt scrub treatment: head-to-toe body brushing helps to slough away dry skin, before a deep exfoliation is carried out using sea salt in spearmint oil.

Sunset on the rooftop
As the day winds down, the eighth-floor rooftop at Soho House Berlin comes alive with members mingling while soaking up the city views. Take a dip in the pool, enjoy the House’s regular programming of live music and surprise DJ sets, or order a few dishes from the latest food pop-up.
‘This summer began with a Turkish pop-up, followed by pizzas,’ says Club Manager Olly Moore. ‘We’ve recently welcomed Maya, which offers members Mexican food. I would say the highlight for me is the Tuna Tostada, but you should also try all three tacos on the menu. There’s Carnitas, which is smoked pork with pineapple and pico de gallo, Chicken Tinga, and Calabacita – summer squash, avocado and red cabbage.’
Dinner at Cecconi’s
Finish the day with dinner at Cecconi’s, with a menu that offers classic Italian dishes like handmade pasta and wood-fired pizzas, as well as an extensive wine list featuring local wines and more premium choices from around the world. If the weather allows, find a table on the terrace. Or, inside, the red booth in the centre of the restaurant is where all the action happens.
‘You get a great view of the kitchen, so you can watch the chefs at work,’ says Hylton. ‘Cecconi’s has its own unique style; it feels reminiscent of an old-school Italian restaurant – the perfect way to close out a day at the House.’
