Cities Without Houses membership is expanding in India
Joining our existing House in Mumbai, we’ll be creating new member communities in New Delhi, Jaipur, Goa, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata

In 2018, we opened the doors to our first outpost in India, Soho House Mumbai. Set in an 11-storey townhouse on Juhu Beach, the club offers members a space to relax, work and socialise, with 38 bedrooms, a rooftop pool, and views over the Arabian Sea. And now our creative community throughout India is growing, as we introduce Cities Without Houses membership in six new cities across the country, with the opening of two new Houses on the horizon, too.
The new Cities Without Houses communities will arrive in New Delhi, Jaipur, Goa, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata, bringing with them the chance for creative-minded individuals to connect in cities where there is no physical House. Cities Without Houses members gain full access to Soho Houses globally when they travel, as well as a range of events in their city, such as One Night Only dinners, art experiences, and performances from local and global musical talent.
‘Since opening Soho House Mumbai five years ago, we’ve loved seeing members support other members – one of the principles that Soho House was built on,’ says Kelly Wardingham, Regional Operations Director, Asia. ‘Through our Soho Mentorship programme, we’ve seen emerging local talent thrive and grow their network, and we look forward to continuing to do this across six new cities in India.’
In the coming years, we’ll also be opening two more Indian Houses, Soho House New Delhi – which will be in the historic neighbourhood of Mehrauli – and Soho House South Mumbai. Members can expect outdoor and indoor spaces, including restaurants and lounges.
To mark this expansion in India – as well as the launch of the newest issue of Soho House magazine – we celebrated with an intimate dinner at Soho House Mumbai. Co-hosted by member and actor, Ali Fazal, and Soho House Global Editorial Director, Teo van den Broeke, guests sampled dishes from Soho House Bangkok’s menu, including Tom Yum Goong Rolls, Kra Pow Kai and Panang Pla. Live music was provided by Indo-jazz fusion trio, Rajeev Raja Combine.
