Wednesday 28 September 2022   By Soho House    Directed by Aaron Christian

Chef Adriana Cavita is committed to celebrating not only authentic Mexican flavours, but also the people who keep them alive. To learn about the traditional food, she lived in Oaxaca (located on the coast of Mexico) for a year, where she absorbed the dedication and community spirit of local women and their cooking.

In this film produced by Soho House in partnership with Santa Teresa rum, you can join Cavita on her journey through Mexico to opening her eponymous restaurant in London’s Marylebone.

At Cavita, Mexican ingredients are paired with locally sourced produce. Using traditional techniques, utensils and special mills for corn and chillies, the chef creates a memorable experience both for the connoisseurs of Mexican food and those discovering it for the first time. Stop by for fresh oysters, crunchy tostadas, Baja tacos, Mole Verde, and cocktails created in collaboration with Santa Teresa.

Enjoy the film as a perfect appetiser.
