Soho House x Porsche presents Highway to House: Episode four

We’re on the final leg of our ultimate North American road trip, picking up from Soho House Nashville. If you’re only just tuning in, here’s a quick recap. To celebrate 20 years of our North American Houses, Pro BMX rider, Jarren Barboza, has been driving a Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid from Los Angeles to New York and stopping at different Houses in between. Using the Connect function on the Soho House app, he has connected with local Soho House members for recommended hotspots to visit along the way.  

For the last part of the journey, Barboza drove from Soho House Nashville to Soho House New York.

One of the most prestigious guitar stores in Nashville, it specialises in premium, American-made vintage guitars and amplifiers.

Frist Art Museum

For a day of culture, head to the Frist Art Museum – great for both adults and the little ones. It hosts regular and wide-ranging exhibitions, including Storied Strings: The Guitar In American Art, which will tell you all about why Nashville is known as Music City. Plus, there’s a regular architecture tour to take you around the landmark Art Deco building and a Family Sunday event every second Sunday of the month.

Any Old Iron
Music Square S, Nashville
Created by designer and stylist Andrew Clancey, Any Old Iron is a fashion brand that’s inspired by his family scrap metal business. The Nashville store was opened with the intention of dressing musicians, which you can see as soon as you enter the store from the abundance of bold blazers, and a mural that resembles the iconic Sex Pistols’ God Save The Queen album cover.

The Continental By Sean Brock

Get dressed up and enjoy an evening at this restaurant by chef Sean Brock. Located on the entry level of the Grand Hyatt hotel in Nashville, it serves food that celebrates American fine dining. You can expect elevated classics, such as tributes to Oysters Rockefeller, Prime Rib and Baked Alaska. Arrive hungry.

Public Records is a space for exploring culture through music and unifying communities via sound. The focus is on respecting the earth and finding ways to enjoy music in sustainable ways. You can pop in for a bite to eat at the restaurant or hit up the sound room that sits underground. You’ll find a dance floor in this underground room, where the angle and placement of the speakers were determined by professional sound engineers.
