Quality, affordability and functionality are the three pillars that the Entire Studios brand stands upon. For LA-based designers Dylan Richards Diaz and Sebastian Hunt, the emphasis is on details; the design duo aim ‘to create quality items where not one detail is missed,’ Richards Diaz tell us. ‘We love to play up proportions, silhouettes, colours, and quality fabrics.’

We sat down with the creatives to go behind the scenes of their fashion show that was staged across the Soho Warehouse pool for their latest collection.

How did you meet and what sparked the idea for the Entire Studios brand and concept?
‘Sebastian and I met online over a decade ago. With our mutual affinities for all things sartorial, and after many years of styling major brands and celebrities, we launched Entire Studios to present our creative vision to the world.

‘Entire Studios is based on three pillars: quality, affordability, and functionality. We believe brands with cultural authority are missing an opportunity to capitalise on their loyal, engaged and hungry customers. Brands mis-position themselves with high price points, inaccessible for the average consumer, or offer a poor-quality product that creates brand distaste, distrust, and disloyalty. We knew we could deliver what customers are yearning for by creating a high-quality brand at an attainable price, while still catering to the style-conscious.’

How would you describe your creative process?
‘Endless mood boarding, deep research online, hands on, and a lot of team brainstorming. It’s a very long, tedious process – from concept development, sampling, web design and branding to fittings and shooting the final product.’

Can you talk about your goal to design and create garments that are luxury but accessible?
‘We source well-considered fabrics made to last and keep our margins as low as possible. We don’t believe in marking up the cost of products for the sake of money. Entire Studios will always be simply yet thoughtfully designed. Our goal is to welcome any person to wear Entire Studios. And within time, Entire Studios will cater to every person, irrespective of age, gender or body type.’

What was the inspiration for the fashion show?
‘When Soho Warehouse reached out to us to showcase our new collection at their space, we wanted to keep it relatively simple and pulled back. So, we used the pool with the Perspex stage of the “Entire Army” and behind-the-scenes footage from our drop two look projecting across the audience. The main focus was on the collection and the street-cast models.’

What do you hope people take away from your brand?
‘We hope we can leave them feeling inspired and confident, and find appreciation for the detailed attention we put into our product, art direction, website, and overall brand.’
