This week has been anything but quiet: over the past seven days our members have celebrated Día de Muertos in Mexico City, sang along to Macy Gray’s iconic hits in Brighton, and dined on curated tasting menus in Atlanta and London. Scroll on for an inside look into these unmissable moments – and don’t forget to check out our events calendar for all the happenings at your local House, too.
Día de Muertos, Soho House Mexico City
Our newly opened House in Mexico City pulled out all the stops to celebrate Día de Muertos. Tequila, dancing and performances by Majo Aguilar and Toy Selectah made it a night to remember.
One Night Only with Little Kudu’s Patrick Williams, Soho House 40 Greek Street
Patrick Williams, the chef behind Kudu Collective, joined us on the rooftop at Soho House 40 Greek Street for an exciting One Night Only dinner. He served up four courses, including Kalahari Spiced Biltong, Curry-Cured Stone Bass and Dry Aged T-bone with beer pickled shallots – all washed down with Angel’s Envy bourbon.
Gallery hopping with Rose Liang, Soho House Hong Kong
Last Thursday, art advisor Rose Liang took members on a tour around some of the coolest galleries in Hong Kong’s Sheung Wan neighbourhood. The group started at Soluna Fine Art, where Italian artist Raffaele Cioffi was exhibiting. Next, they headed to Square Street Gallery to check out works by emerging local artists. Finally, at Double Q Gallery they took in a solo exhibition by American artist Tim Irani.
Biblio member dinner, Cities Without Houses Charlotte
The Cities Without Houses Charlotte community gathered for a member dinner at Biblio, a new restaurant concept from local chef and James Beard Award finalist Sam Hart that puts wine first. As they mingled with other local members, guests enjoyed a one-of-a-kind tasting menu where dishes were paired with individual bottles of wine.
One Night Only with SadBoi at Palo Santo, Cities Without Houses Atlanta
Record label LVRN partnered with Cities Without Houses Atlanta to serve up a very special One Night Only dinner, hosted at Mexican supper club and rooftop lounge Palo Santo. To round off an evening of good food and even better company, Toronto-based artist SadBoi gave an impressive performance.
Macy Gray performance, Brighton Beach House
Music icon Macy Gray joined us in the Rock Room at Brighton Beach House last week for an unforgettable live performance of songs from her newest album, The Reset, alongside her new band, The California Jet Club.
