1. The history of Notting Hill Carnival at 180 House
The Black Music Coalition presents an exclusive panel discussing the history of Notting Hill Carnival, from its post-Windrush roots and significant impact on British culture to its post-pandemic future of one of the most famous street festivals in the world. This panel is hosted by BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Seani B, and includes Treble T and Shabaka Thompson, among others.

2. Crate Classics and friends at White City House
Crate Classics is a Grammy-nominated producer duo that has toured with the likes of Kranium, Mark Ronson and Disclosure, and collaborated with legends such as Capleton, Potential Bad Boy, and Chatta B. The pair are hosting a rooftop party to welcome in the bank holiday weekend, calling upon their friends to help – think Eliza Legzdina, Yung Saber, Jodian Natty, Pesolife, and some very special guests. Expect pop, dancehall and jungle merging into blissful island rhythms.

3. Pre-carnival party: Black Music Coalition at 180 House
The Black Music Coalition presents its pre-Carnival party in celebration of the return of Notting Hill Carnival after two long years. Soak up some carnival vibes with music provided by Esi, Donch, and many more.

4. Greensleeves Records reggae rooftop party at White City House
Join us on the rooftop for a west London reggae record label takeover. Celebrating Greensleeves Records’ 45th year in business, Greensleeves Hi-Fi (aka Oxman and Adam Prescott) will be joined by grime legend Footsie, with Jah Model and Sir Spyro (BBC Radio 1Xtra) on the decks.

5. Carnival House Party: Norman Jay at 40 Greek Street
This edition of House Party welcomes very special guest Norman Jay MBE, who previously ran Notting Hill Carnival’s legendary Good Times Sound System. Born in Notting Hill, Jay was influenced by his father’s record collection of blue beat, ska, and jazz. By the late 1970s he was considered an emerging authority on contemporary Afro-American music including funk, disco, soul, and jazz fusion.

6. VP Records x Shabba Party party at White City House 
London’s biggest street party is back – and we’re ready to continue the celebrations into the night in the heart of west London. Hosted by the iconic VP Records and Shabba Party, the night features a megastar reggae and dancehall guest, alongside Shabba Party DJs and Notting Hill’s legendary Carnival sound system, BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Rampage.
