The top events around the Houses from the end of November

It’s December, which means the holiday season has officially arrived. But before we embrace the festivities, we’re looking back at some of our favourite events from around the Houses over the past week. We partied with DJ Tennis in Rome, celebrated Art SG art fair in Bangkok, and lots more.

Art SG cocktail party at Soho House Bangkok
Southeast Asia’s leading international art fair, Art SG, lands in Singapore in January, so to celebrate we hosted a cocktail party at our Bangkok outpost. Director of Art SG, Chomwan Weeraworawit Huang, opened the night with an introduction to next year’s fair, followed by speeches from Professor Dr Apinan Poshyananda, artistic director and chief executive of Bangkok Art Biennale; Magnus Renfrew, cofounder of Art SG; and Shuyin Yang, fair director of Art SG.

LIKELIHOOD Fashion Show, Cities Without Houses Seattle
Cities Without Houses Seattle members had the opportunity to shop looks straight from the runway at luxury streetwear boutique LIKELIHOOD’s AW23 Brand Spectrum. A fashion show was followed by a shopping experience powered by NTWRK, featuring immersive lighting by Bellevue Lighting, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks from our friends at TRIP.

Escape Suit reception, Cities Without House Charlotte
Cities Without Houses Charlotte members gathered at Prairie Gallery in Noda for a private opening reception for Escape Suit, an exhibition by American artist and fashion designer Gary Graham. A finalist in Amazon’s Making The Cut, Graham’s first solo exhibition as an artist in residence at Prairie is a site-specific project that allowed history and community to determine textile production when making the collection.

After the reception, members walked over to natural wine bar Bar à Vins in the heart of Charlotte’s Noda neighbourhood for a member social. 

Friendsgiving at our UK Houses
Soho House 40 Greek Street, Shoreditch House, 180 House and Babington House all hosted Friendsgiving dinners last weekend. Members were treated to a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings, complete with a menu of Woodford Reserve cocktails.

Soho Presents: DJ Tennis, Soho House Rome
Italian-born DJ Tennis joined us in Rome for the latest edition of Soho Presents, our global series celebrating musical moments around the world, in partnership with Bacardí. The DJ brought his signature brand of electronic music to ensure members were up on their feet dancing until late into the night.
