New Year’s Eve celebrations from around the Houses
From a Studio 54 soiree in Copenhagen to a 1960s movie theme in Hong Kong, here’s how our members rang in 2023 at Soho House across the world

New Year’s Eve is what we do best at Soho House, and this year was no different. Welcoming 2023 in style, we hosted a series of themed parties at our clubs around the world with Champagne toasts, firework displays and DJs of all genres keeping members on the dance floor until the early hours.
From a Masquerade Ball at Soho House 40 Greek Street in London to an In The Mood For Love-inspired party in Hong Kong – not to mention a Studio 54 extravaganza at Soho House Copenhagen and a Surrealist Ball, courtesy of Porsche, at our newly opened Soho House Stockholm – there was plenty to enjoy.

UK
180 House
Members celebrated with Champagne provided by Moët & Chandon and live music, including the legendary Norman Jay MBE on the decks.
Soho House 40 Greek Street
Celebrations got a touch Venetian over at 40 Greek Street with our Masquerade Ball. Members enjoyed Champagne and danced along to sets by Fat Tony and BBC Radio 1’s Sarah Story.
Brighton Beach House
Our coastal House rang in the new year with a Casino Royale themed party. Members and guests played Roulette and Blackjack in the Rock Room, and listened to the sounds of Frankie Jean and the Miami High Function Band.
Shoreditch House
It was all bells and whistles over at our east London outpost, with members toasting Moët & Chandon Champagne at midnight while watching a rooftop fireworks display.
White City House
White City House hosted a Black Tie New Year’s Eve party and a special Pen Yen dinner. The evening featured Black Cat Cabaret performances and resident DJs on the decks, as well as Moët & Chandon Champagne and fireworks at midnight.
North America
Soho Warehouse
In Downtown LA, we rang in the new year with an evening at the world-famous Club Alabam – known for being the centre of LA’s jazz scene in the 1930s and 1940s, it was home to musicians such as Billie Holiday, Josephine Baker and Dorothy Dandridge.
Soho House Malibu
In Malibu, the theme of the night was House of Legends: The Cocoanut Grove. Members enjoyed a casino pop-up and a midnight beachside toast with a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne.
Soho House West Hollywood
The House travelled back in time on New Year’s Eve, recreating the legendary nightclub Ciro’s from the Sunset Strip’s glamorous heyday. Just like the golden days, it was legends only in the crowd, living up to Ciro’s iconic guests.
Soho House Chicago
Fashion, art and members’ finest attire adorned the House at our surrealist ball in Chicago. Guests toasted to the new year and danced all night at our Painted Dreams themed party.
DUMBO House
Our Brooklyn House hosted the ultimate party – and it didn’t disappoint. Wall-to-wall music bumped all night, peaking with a Moët & Chandon midnight toast.
Soho House New York
To ring in 2023, Soho House New York transformed into a reimagination of Frank Sinatra’s legendary Glass Mansion soirees.
Soho House Toronto
New Year’s Eve in Toronto paid homage to the golden age of cruising with a party that captured the glamour of early 1900s transatlantic cruises.
Soho Beach House Miami
It was a full-on, retro-futuristic adventure in Miami. The nearby Hangar at Regatta Harbour and Bayshore Club were transformed into a glamorous 1960s airline experience. Members danced among the stars on the ultimate flight into 2023.
