Introducing our tennis weekender at Babington House

Is it even a ‘British summer’ without tennis? This year, we’re partnering with Lacoste for our first-ever tennis weekender on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 July at Babington House. Over two days, you and your family are invited to enjoy food, drinks and sessions with Black Girls Tennis Club and games for all levels. On Saturday, there will be a talk with Annabel Croft, a former champion and the youngest Briton to play at senior Wimbledon for nearly 100 years. And on Sunday, ex-British professional player and coach to Laura Robson and Andy Murray, Miles Maclagan, will be hosting a talk and a masterclass for those who want to improve their technique.

We’ll also be organising the Soho House Tennis Tournament, with members competing to win the Soho Grand Slam Cup, including mixed singles and mixed doubles. And yes, there are prizes for the winners.

Over the weekend, you can join hosts Josh Paris and Adam Paris for a conversation with big names in the tennis world. On Saturday, you’ll have the chance to meet former UK player and presenter Annabel Croft. And on Sunday, the British professional player and coach to Laura Robson and Andy Murray, Miles Maclagan, will be hosting a masterclass for those who want to improve their technique.

If you wish to take a break from the tennis or you’re just there to support the rest of your group, you can enjoy your time at the pool area where there will be a DJ set. 

Thanks to our partnership with Lacoste, members will also have access to exclusive benefits and experiences. These include a summer event series featuring screenings of the iconic Roland-Garros tennis finals and rooftop parties, as well as the inaugural Soho Grand Slam at Babington House.
