Inside the TUDOR showcases at our North American Houses

Last year, we partnered with the award-winning Swiss Made watch brand, TUDOR, to create a special series of showcases for our members.
 
The events took place at our stateside Houses and attendees enjoyed cocktails as local fine jewellers presented the collections, which featured both vintage and modern pieces – all were available to purchase. Alongside the watch displays, there was entertainment in the form of live music performances, whisky tastings, cowboy hat makers, and more.
 
Founded in 1926, ‘The TUDOR’ was registered as a brand by the founder of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf. Over the years, these watches have been chosen by some of the boldest adventurers, on land, in the air, underwater, and on ice.

Vintage timepieces with TUDOR, Soho House New York

We kicked off the showcases in the Meatpacking District with a collection of vintage pieces, where members could ask questions and discuss the watches with experts. This event was presented in partnership with TUDOR’s local boutique, Tourneau Bucherer, along with drinks and light bites.

Watches and whisky with TUDOR, Soho House Chicago
26 July 2023
Soho House Chicago hosted an eventful day, where members arrived to a unique cocktail menu by Pernod Ricard and a custom hat embroiderer. Later, there was whisky tasting with The Glenlivet and attendees were entered into a competition to win a Chicago Cubs experience. Of course, the main focus was the large collection of watches, which local fine jeweller CD Peacock presented.

In our Tennessee-based House, country music star Jackie Lee set the scene with a live performance. Alongside this, attendees were welcomed to join a whisky tasting hosted by Maker’s Mark. The brand also created a cocktail menu, which guests enjoyed while experts from King Jewelers talked them through TUDOR’s collection.

It was a lively affair at our outpost in Texas as guests enjoyed a DJ performance after browsing the collections. A custom cowboy hatmaker was also available for members to request a hat, while talking to the jewellers from Korman Fine Jewelry and enjoying a cocktail.

At our beachside club, the watches were delicately displayed against a backdrop of the ocean and presented by the TUDOR Boutique Westime in Los Angeles. Attendees tried on the timepieces, spoke to the experts and enjoyed cocktails, with a DJ performance to round off the day.

Set in the garden, guests arrived to a selection of cocktails by Rumor Rosé from the outside bar and some light bites as they browsed the watches. From timeless classics to modern designs, specialists from Mayors spoke to members and introduced their collections. Finally, there was a DJ performance where everyone let their hair down.
