With its rich cultural history, Manchester was a natural choice as the next home for Soho House in the UK. Located in the city’s former Granada Studios, Soho House Manchester will feature interiors inspired by the mid-century heritage of the building itself. Set to open later this year, the House will be our first in the North of England.
In anticipation of the opening, we hosted a special event in the city, in partnership with legendary Manchester music festival, Parklife.

Manchester Committee member, Sacha Lord – cofounder of Parklife and The Warehouse Project, and Night Time Economy Adviser for Greater Manchester – came up with the idea of hosting a unique dining experience on the main stage of the festival on Wednesday 7 June, two days before the festival begins.

Produced by Soho House and the Parklife team, and with thanks to our partners Converse and Private White V.C., the Soho House Manchester Committee and friends of Parklife gathered for a three-course dinner. Created by Soho House’s Executive Chef, Nathanial Tofan, and Soho House Manchester’s Head Chef, James Lord, guests tucked into Lamb Shoulder, Orecchiette and Manchester Tart.

Drinks including our signature Picante, plus no and low drinks by Lucky Saint and Pentire Drinks, were served up by UK and EU Bar Manager, Cyril Francoise, and High Road House Bar Manager, Davide Pavone.
To get our guests in the mood, there was a DJ set courtesy of Committee member Len Hamilton, who played during the welcome drinks. His brand Northern Lights Home also provided the flowers for the occasion.
