The UK’s third May bank holiday of 2023 is fast approaching – and you may have a night to fill, a morning to recover, or perhaps it’s all to play for. Wherever you’re at, we want to make it easy for you to plan a great long weekend, whether that’s a three-day party, a peaceful escape or a mixture of the two. With this in mind, we’re hosting a variety of events and activities to fill up the whole weekend. 

With warm weather forecasted, you might want to take advantage of our beachfront club in Brighton, play tennis at Babington House, or maybe you’re gearing up for rooftop parties in the capital followed by a day at the Cowshed spa. Be it a local stay or a trip further out, you’re guaranteed to find the ideal combination for a great bank holiday.

Friday
Weather: 19°C, sunny

Night
Location: Brighton Beach House
The plan: Soho Presents Horse Meat Disco with Bacardí, 7pm to 1.30am 

We’ll be hosting a party for Brighton Beach House’s first birthday, where Horse Meat Disco will be playing a three-hour set, in partnership with Bacardí. So, set your out of office, head down to the club and start the weekend by dancing the night away. Plus, all that sea air will soothe your head in the morning.

Saturday
Weather: 20°C, sunny

Day
Location: Babington House
The plan: Saturday Poolside Sessions, 2pm to 6pm 

Whether you were out the night before or not, a poolside party is a universal success for making the most of the sunshine – besides, it begins at 2pm, so you can sleep in. Set up camp on a lounger, grab a drink and enjoy music from our in-house DJ all afternoon. 

Night
Location: White City House
The plan: Jammer presents AFUERA, 10pm to 3am

Hear us out – euphoric house music. Yes, it really is as good as it sounds. If you’re looking to capitalise on the fun of an extended weekend, then this is the event for you. Head into a late-night session with music played and produced by Jammer & Co. Starting at 10pm, you’ll have plenty of time to grab dinner at the restaurant or drinks on the rooftop at the House before the night begins.

Sunday
Weather: 22°C, sunny and cloudy

Day
Location: Brighton Beach House
The plan: Vintage market, 12pm 

If fashion is your thing or you just enjoy perusing through vintage finds, you’ll want to add this market to your bank holiday agenda. Mammoth Vintage has sourced and curated a selection from the 1960s where you’ll find some unexpected gems, alongside iconic styles from the past. And to get you into the spirit, disco and funk DJ Hot Pants will be playing while you shop. 

Night
Location: Soho Farmhouse
The plan: Kevin Mark Trail, 7pm to 10pm 

The rustic surroundings of Soho Farmhouse are a fitting set-up for a relaxed evening of acoustic music – perfect for a bank holiday Sunday evening. Specialising in R&B, soul, reggae and hip-hop, singer-songwriter Kevin Mark Trail will be performing from 7pm onwards. Start with an early dinner or a late finish in the Cowshed spa, then head over to The Mill where you can sit back and enjoy the music. Needless to say, you’re in for a treat.

Monday
Weather: 17°C and cloudy 

Day 
Location: Brighton Beach House
The plan: Sunrise yoga, 7am 

If you’re looking to make the most of your Monday, then a sunrise yoga session is a great way to get your mind, body and soul into the swing of the day. Alternatively, you may be looking to undo some of the damage caused over the past two days, in which case yoga is a great way to stretch, rebalance and relax yourself right on the seafront. Sounds dreamy, right? 

Night  
Location: Redchurch Street Studio
The plan: Lanaire Aderemi live, 7pm to 10pm 

Finish the weekend on a cultural high. Head to Redchurch Street in Shoreditch for a performance of poetry, music and interactive conversations by the multi-hyphenate artist, in the heart of the creative district itself. Kick back, relax and get involved if you want to.
