How to spend Halloween around the Houses

Soho House is known for its epic Halloween parties, and if there’s one thing our members love it’s an opportunity to get their creative juices flowing. In previous years we’ve seen them transform into space fairies at an American Horror Story night in Hong Kong, bloody pirates at a Lost At Sea party in Malibu and nightmarish clowns at White City House’s scary circus, to name just a few. 

For Halloween 2023, we’re bringing you an even spookier selection of haunted Houses to get your fangs stuck into. Whether you want to explore your villain era at Soho House Holloway, lose yourself in an eerie Tim Burton-themed evening in Toronto or relinquish your closeted leather at a Matrix party in Copenhagen, we’ve got everything covered.

In Your Villain Era
The haunted House: Soho House Holloway 
The night: Thursday 26 October

Experience a midweek nightmare as villains take over our West Hollywood outpost. Whether you’re a Cruella or a Krueger, come in your most wicked costume and get ready for a night of spooky fun brought to you by Bacardí. Plus, get a tattoo by Claudio Traina of Sixty Ink LA.

A Nightmare On Bay Street

You won’t be able to sleep after a terror-filled night at Soho Warehouse. Make your way around a bone-chilling boiler room, get flash tattoos from Joy Studio, and dance to DJ sets by Memphy, Asia Shabazz and more.

Join us in the eerie depths of the Macroverse where nightmares live and Pennywise reigns supreme. Brace yourself for a night of spine-tingling thrills and creepy encounters, then grab a drink as you explore and become part of his circus.

Miami Magic: Classics and Cliches
The haunted House: Soho Beach House Miami 
The night: Saturday 28 October 

Celebrate all the things that make Miami the Magic City, from the infamous to the tacky. Think zip codes, Miami Vice, shades of neon, iconic Miami clubs, and movies. Start your night with a welcome cocktail and expect to party until the early hours.

The night: Saturday 28 October 

This year we’re going all out with a complete House takeover in the iconic style of filmmaker Tim Burton. Dress up as one of his characters and immerse yourself in the eerie, evil and eccentric world of gothic fantasy. Grab a cocktail on arrival and lose yourself to a three-floor dance party in partnership with Porsche.

Are you afraid of the dark? Spend Halloween with us this year as we take over the entire House. Expect surprises and scares on every floor, DJs, a dedicated ‘say cheese and die’ photo booth, and some horrifying guests with creepy cocktails to ease the terror.

It’s the year 2095; Soho House creates space for humans, robots and unique species to mingle seamlessly among the space colonies. Join us in a costume that blurs the lines between real and fantasy. Inside the private walls you’ll find air thick with creativity, techscape installations, DJs who have mastered the realm of sound, and unearthly performances. Think Barbie’s worst night at our Dream House of Horrors where pink hues give way to darker shades of red and no convertible SUV or handsome hunk can save you. Dress up, dress down or come as you are. Creep over to DUMBO House for a No Theme Super Dance Jam Halloween party where everything goes. Enjoy a diverse line-up of DJs, a welcome drink pre-10pm and a best-dressed contest for those who choose to arrive in costume.

Angels and Demons
The haunted House: 180 House
The night: Saturday 28 October  

Join us for our biggest Halloween yet with a double House takeover. Naughty or nice? You decide. Feeling nice? Follow the stairway to heaven up in the clouds with the angels. Dance the night away to Piano House with Larizzle and Juls taking over the rooftop, while Shy One and DJ Playing with Knives will be in the late lounge on the eighth floor. Feeling naughty? Head over to Shoreditch House (as below).

Head over to Shoreditch House, which will be your wicked playground for one night only. Find Places+Faces taking over the Back Deck, lose yourself to the sounds of Super K with DJ Spoony over in the Library, and dance to resident DJs in the Square Bar.

Kick off your Halloween celebrations with a seasonal yet scary feast in the Log Room for £60 per person, including a welcome drink and a three-course dinner. After dinner, head to the bar where our Halloween party will be in full swing.

Interactive Halloween Storytelling and Drama for the Early Years
The haunted House: Little House Balham
The day: Sunday 22 October

Debutots is all about stories, along with dramatic play and activities. For our horrible Halloween class, we will be visiting the characters Flapping Bat and Clacking Skelly in their spooky cave home and then following them to a scary disco, where there’ll be party games, dancing and singing. Suitable for children aged two to seven years old.

Get involved with an assortment of ghoulish delights this Halloween. For those who aren’t afraid of the dark, we’ll be partying until the early hours with a special surprise guest DJ. Fresh from her summer of festivals and touring, with some notable fashion week parties, the evening will be curated by an eclectic pioneer who plays a mixture of genres and smooth transitions. Keep an eye out for the reveal.
