From tennis screenings and dance parties to our annual Glastonbury Wind-Down, the summer celebrations are in full swing for our members

July is proving to be another exciting month in the Houses (and beyond), with members coming together for an array of events. We’ve hosted Fourth of July celebrations in Nashville, welcomed industry-defining voices in London, including costume designer Sandy Powell and journalist Jon Ronson, and treated our Cities Without Houses members in Dublin to some special live music.

Roland-Garros finals screenings in partnership with Lacoste
Ludlow House, 180 House, Soho House Hong Kong
To celebrate the closing of the French Open tournament, we hosted screenings of the women’s and men’s finals at three of our Houses across the world. Members were entertained by live commentary from tennis experts, while enjoying French-themed cocktails, light bites and prize draws.

To celebrate the closing of the French Open tournament, we hosted screenings of the women’s and men’s finals at three of our Houses across the world. Members were entertained by live commentary from tennis experts, while enjoying French-themed cocktails, light bites and prize draws.

We hosted a talk with former English professional footballers and coaches, Jody Morris and Nicky Shorey, followed by a screening of the first England football game of the Euros tournament. Members enjoyed playing table foosball and a build-your-own burger bar station, as well as drinks including Wrexham Lager during the game.

Part of our regular morning series, high-profile guests from the world of fashion discuss their careers, ambitions and inspirations over coffee and breakfast at 180 House in London. For this event, Soho House’s Global Editorial Director Teo van den Broeke was joined by Oscar®-winning British costume designer Sandy Powell, who’s best known for her work on The Favourite, Gangs of New York and Shakespeare in Love.

Babington House
Easing festivalgoers back into reality, we hosted our annual Glastonbury Wind-Down at our countryside escape, Babington House, in Somerset. Members joined us on the lawn for some post-festival fun that included DJ sets from Ross Wilson and Joshua James, a performance from Sophie Ellis-Bextor, food pop-ups, and a special drinks menu from Rock Angel.

Soho House Mexico City
Drag queen Señorita Carlangas hosted Pride celebrations at our House in Mexico City, in collaboration with 1800 Tequila and Creyente Mezcal. Around the pool, DJs Paola Jose and Agsulo kept members entertained, while over at the Casa stage Issa Tellez’s cabaret show was followed by DJ sets from Andrü and Gvajardo. Finally, at the Pool House stage, the evening ended with a soundtrack from Dirtee Disco, Tommy Hart and The Illustrious Blacks.

Cities Without Houses, Dublin
For a special night of food and live music, members joined us to enjoy a dinner menu created in collaboration with Fidelity Studio and Sister 7, before being treated to a surprise performance by British multi-instrumentalist and producer, CKTRL. This was delivered through one of the most impressive sound systems in Europe, designed by sound sculptor and craftsman Toby Hatchett.

We opened the doors of our Mykonos-based House for the season with a summer party supported by Rock Angel. As members danced under the setting sun, DJ Alexandros Christopoulos provided an uplifting set.
