SXSW Porsche kick-off party with D-Nice


In Austin, SXSW took over for one week in March with an impressive line-up of live music, panels and events. We kicked off the festivities at the House with an all-out opening party with legendary artist, DJ and photographer, Derrick ‘D-Nice’ Jones, powered by Porsche.

The Cocoa Butter Club at Soho House Paris with St-Germain


London’s Cocoa Butter Club – a collective of queer Black and POC creatives performing drag and burlesque shows, performance art and comedy – took over our House in Paris for an evening of cabaret. Members partied all night, with speciality cocktails from our friends at St-Germain in hand.

Parks n Rec with Quiana Parks and Brian Henry: Lena Waithe’s official afterparty


Lena Waithe hosted her official Hillman Grad afterparty celebrating the premiere of Kokomo City and Being Mary Tyler Moore at Soho House Austin during SXSW last week. DJ, producer, visual artist, cancer survivor and philanthropist, Quiana Parks, and musical illustrator, Brian Henry, went back to back in the DJ booth all night.

Cities Without Houses Sydney Women’s History Month with Arts-Matter


In honour of Women’s History Month, Cities Without Houses Sydney and Arts-Matter joined forces to bring together a conversation between a trio of leading women who use their artistic platforms to advocate for social issues. Barb Moore, the CEO of the Biennale of Sydney, moderated the talk between Iranian-born artist Nasim Nasr, queer artist Kim Leutwyler, and Western Sydney-based artist Serwah Attafuah. Following the talk, the artists led a ‘protest poster making’ workshop.

Cities Without Houses Bristol dinner


Last week, Cities Without Houses hosted their first event in Bristol at The Mount Without, a refurbished, 900-year-old Grade II-listed church that has been transformed into a creative haven. The evening featured a three-course dinner by renowned local restaurant Bianchis, accompanied by signature cocktails and non-alcoholic spirits from Pentire, crafted by High Road House Bar Manager, Davide. Local lingerie brand, Fleur of England, provided guests with gifts to take home, alongside favourites from Soho Skin and Soho Home.
