Chanel and Variety’s Fourth Annual Female Filmmaker Dinner, Soho House Toronto
Chanel hosted the Fourth Annual Female Filmmaker Dinner, in partnership with Variety magazine, at Soho House Toronto during the Toronto International Film Festival. The evening brought together an intimate group of industry-leading talents, such as friends of the House Vicky Krieps, Camila Morrone and Irina Starshenbaum, to honour women in film and highlight Chanel’s relationship with cinema.
The special event celebrated the Chanel Women Writers’ Network, an alumnae programme and extension of TIFF Share Her Journey’s annual TIFF Writers’ Studio. The programme reinforces Soho House’s commitment to championing women in the arts and creating opportunities for their artistic and professional development. This year, the participants included Teyama Alkamli, Berkley Brady, Luis De Filippis, Idil Ibrahim, and Farida Zahran.
Two-year anniversary celebration, Soho House Tel Aviv, Jaffa
Last week at Soho House Tel Aviv, Jaffa, we celebrated the House’s two-year anniversary with a special evening supported by our friends at Patrón. The party was orange blossom-themed, known to be the symbol of Jaffa since the early 20th century. DJs Nadav Ravid and Noa Argov kicked off the party with a two-hour set, followed by renowned electronic duo Red Axes and a closing set from Smajj.
Maker’s Mark Billiard House opening night, Soho House Chicago
Last week, we introduced Billiard House, our new concept that’s taking over Soho House Chicago’s Parlor for the months of September and October. To celebrate the opening, we took over the entire club with casino games such as Craps, Blackjack and Roulette. Members and friends dressed up and played all night to win complimentary nights in the hotel and gifts from Cowshed. Billiard House features a special Maker’s Mark menu every Thursday to Sunday with special cocktails, including the Gold Rush and Old Fashioned, plus cheese and charcuterie boards.
Lily & Bloom at Soho House Bangkok
John Nugent and DJ Daryll Griggs brought their Hong Kong-based cocktail bar Lily & Bloom to our House in Bangkok. Nugent served up special cocktails, including the Guava Gimlet, South Island and Gibson, while Griggs played funky tracks all night.
