From Soho City Limits in Austin to a fireside feast at Babington House, here’s what members have been up to in our Houses

Wherever our members are in the world, there’s always something exciting happening at the Houses, as well as in our Cities Without Houses communities. This month, they’ve been enjoying parties and performances, special one-off dinners and talks from big industry names, plus new event series such as Storytime For Kids at White City House.

Art Week, Soho House Paris, powered by Porsche
To mark Art Basel Paris, Soho House Paris hosted a special talk in the Cabaret Room, inviting the director of the Neue Nationalgalerie, Klaus Biesenbach, to talk to artist Alvaro Barrington about his continuing career in the art world. The House also hosted the Art Week party, co-curated by art critic and curator Martha Kirszenbaum, with live music performances by Joseph Schiano di Lombo, Adieu Dolorès and Faux Real, as well as a DJ set by Cyrus Goberville.

Art Week, Soho House Paris, powered by Porsche
To mark Art Basel Paris, Soho House Paris hosted a special talk in the Cabaret Room, inviting the director of the Neue Nationalgalerie, Klaus Biesenbach, to talk to artist Alvaro Barrington about his continuing career in the art world. End of season celebration, Little Beach House Barcelona, in partnership with Lacoste
To close out the season at our Beach House in Barcelona, members gathered for an afternoon of table tennis, speciality cocktails and music, in partnership with Lacoste. Inspired by private pool parties from the 1950s to the 1970s, the party saw guests dancing into the evening with a special performance by Rory J Williams at sunset, followed by DJ sets from Martista and Silvie Loto.

Celebrating fashion and music, Soho House São Paulo, in partnership with Lacoste
The courtyard of Soho House São Paulo was transformed for an evening to celebrate fashion and music, where members enjoyed French-inspired light bites and a cocktail created especially for the party: the Croco Basil. There were also headline DJ sets by Peroli and Nagalli.

Soho City Limits 2024, Soho House Austin, with Woodford Reserve
To mark the arrival of Austin City Limits music festival, our House in the Texas capital hosted its own series of exciting events. This included the album release of Leon Bridges with Woodford Reserve, who provided some special cocktails for the evening. Throughout the celebrations, the House also welcomed Foster The People and Hermanos Gutiérrez, who treated members to DJ sets, as well as Royel Otis, whose performance was a highlight. There were also performances and DJ sets by Lawrence, Emei, Paco Versailles, The Tiaras, Kalu & The Electric Joint, and more.

Woodland Fire Feast: Gill Meller, Babington House, in partnership with The Dalmore
Members joined chef, author, food stylist and cookery teacher Gill Meller in the woods at Babington House, where he prepared a three-course sharing-style menu over an open fire. Each dish was inspired by local and seasonal ingredients, and was served with The Dalmore single malt whisky cocktails.

Storytime For Kids, White City House
At White City House, the team hosted its very first Storytime For Kids event, welcoming children aged seven to 10 to hear a story read by a recognisable face. For this event, TV presenter and children’s author Dermot O’Leary read an extract from his latest book, Spyfox And Agent Feathers, and answered questions about his successful Toto The Ninja Cat series.

In Conversation and Soho Presents: Bashy, White City House
To mark his return to music with the release of his new album Being Poor Is Expensive, actor and rapper Bashy arrived at White City House for a conversation that covered his inspirations, career, and experience growing up in west London. This was followed by a special rooftop performance for members.

Music lecture with Elijah, Soho House Bangkok
Label founder, artist manager and DJ, Elijah, brought his Yellow Squares lecture to the House in Bangkok, sharing insights and advice from his 15-year career in the music industry. Throughout the event, he spoke to members about the evolving role of DJs, how to execute and sustain artistic vision, and the importance of building organic community around a project.

Pennylane Shen, artist consultant, curator, and educator, joined CWH Vancouver members for a drinks reception at Monte Clark Gallery . As part of the evening, Shannon Heth spoke to Lucy Packard, Soho House Lead Designer; Anakena Paddon, Soho House Art Collection Manager; Quinn Bonetti of Livingspace Interiors, and Monte Clark, owner of Monte Clark Gallery, in a conversation about design moderated by Shannon Heth from Milk Creative Communications.
