As January ticks by, our Houses have been a welcome escape from the biting temperatures and grey skies, with events programming that includes panels, performances and more. Our members have been making the most of it, combating the winter blues with a coffee tasting in New York, a comedy show in London and a theatrical circus performance in New Orleans, where we have a large Cities Without Houses community.

Soho House Presents: Cirque du Jolie, Cities Without Houses New Orleans
Cities Without House New Orleans members gathered at the newly opened immersive bar and restaurant, Jolie, for an unforgettable live performance featuring aerialists, clowns, and more. Light bites, cocktails and a DJ set followed the show.
Martin Luther King Jr Day at White City House
London members marked Martin Luther King Jr Day with a panel that featured American journalist Geraldine Sharpe-Newton and cultural curator Harris Elliott. Hosted by actor and director Justin Marosa, the panel discussed King’s speeches and reflected on his enduring legacy, in the UK, US and across the globe.
Minoryacoffee x Ludlow House
Coffee fans gathered together at our House in New York’s Lower East Side for a tasting from small Filipino backyard coffee farm, Minoryacoffee. With a focus on sustainability and community, it brews coffee from Liberica beans, one of the world’s rarest varieties that accounts for less than 2% of global coffee production.
House Comedy: Katherine Ryan, White City House
Over in west London, we hosted award-winning comedian, writer, presenter and actor Katherine Ryan for a performance at White City House as part of our House Comedy series. Ryan kept members laughing all night in two back-to-back shows.
Susan Miller: breakthroughs and trends for 2024, Soho House New York
Author, columnist and astrologer Susan Miller brought her wisdom to Soho House New York for a question and answer session that explored just what 2024 will bring. Together with members, Miller discussed how the planetary cycles affect both sun and rising signs, and highlighted some key dates. Each attendee also went home with one of Miller’s Year Ahead 2024 astrology wall calendars.
