Celebrating the opening of Soho House Mexico City
Special performances, non-stop dancing and Dirty Burgers at midnight – inside the most anticipated party of the year at our first House in Latin America
Tuesday 26 September 2023 By Soho House
Soho House Mexico City opened its doors on Friday night for the first time, ushering in a new era of Soho House in Latin America. A crowd of Founder members, friends and the Mexico City creative community gathered at the new club in celebration of the opening.
Located in the Colonia Juárez neighbourhood, the historic casa is a former private residence with the design echoing the building’s French influences and Baroque heritage. The space features a house and annex with three bars and lounges, including a tequila bar and an underground vinyl listening room – all of which were open for members to enjoy throughout the party.
The night began in true Soho House style as everyone was greeted with our signature cocktail, the Picante. Members and friends of the House explored the brand-new outdoor and indoor spaces, which feature custom furniture and an art collection by artists born, based or trained in Mexico. The party then continued to heat up at the tequila bar with Jose Cuervo cocktails.
As for the music line-up for the night, Monse Castera kicked things off with a DJ set and Mexican R&B sensation Girl Ultra gave an epic live performance. They were followed by Los Muchachos, La Sonora Dinamita and DJ Cierre who all kept the vibes high and the crowd dancing into the early hours. When the midnight hunger struck, Dirty Burgers satisfied every craving.
