This year, Soho House Toronto is hosting its second Soho Camp at South Tea Lake in Algonquin Park – a perfect place to escape the city for Labor Day Weekend. Running from Friday to Sunday, it’s a fully fledged adventure in the wild, with cabin stays, plenty of activities, and a warm community atmosphere. Tempted? Here’s why you shouldn’t miss out.
Where is Soho Camp?
Soho Camp takes place at Camp Tamakwa, which is known for its vast forests and clear waters. Located on an island amid South Tea Lake in Algonquin Park, it’s only accessible by boat. Join the guests at Soho House Toronto to travel together, unplug and connect. Highlights include comfy cabins to stay in, a wide wooden deck that opens up onto the lake, and campfires to chill around at night.

What can you expect?
Tickets include return transport pick-ups from Soho House Toronto, as well as food, drink, and activities.
The weekend will be soundtracked by DJ Young Teesh, with a special live performance by Dragonette. Other events include candle making, a beading workshop and a Rose Aura session, to name a few. Plus, enjoy classic outdoor camp activities such as kayaking, swimming and volleyball, as well as other sports, with dedicated camp-style downtime in the evenings.
On the Friday, there will be a welcome dinner where you’ll have a chance to mingle with fellow campers, while all three meals for the day will be provided on Saturday. On Sunday, guests will be served a farewell breakfast before making the trip back to the city. Oh, and did we mention there’ll be free-flowing cocktails by Bacardí throughout your stay?

Members can book entire cabins for up to 12 guests (three of whom must be members) or eight guests (two of whom must be members). Alternatively, you and your guests can join a shared cabin.
