This month, we’ll be hosting exciting events across our UK Houses to celebrate the culture and histories of Black British communities, in honour of Black History Month. Kicking things off last Sunday was Brighton Beach House’s vibrant Nigerian Independence Day party, with a special live performance from rising R&B star Bellah. Throughout the evening, members enjoyed canapes inspired by Nigerian flavours, courtesy of Masterchef UK 2020 semi-finalist Victor Okunowo. Ending the night on a high was DJ Nicholson with an Afrobeats set that covered everything from Afropop and fújì music to soukous.
