All the top events from around our Houses last week

Outside, the temperature may be dropping, but as the holiday season approaches our events calendar is heating up. This week, we’ve celebrated Diwali in New York and Nashville, enjoyed a One Night Only dinner feast in Malibu, and warmed ourselves round the bonfire at Babington House – and that’s just the start.

ATTEM Brand Launch Party, CWH ATL 
After building a career styling top celebrities like Jack Harlow, member Metta Conchetta has taken the next step and launched her own fashion label: ATTEM. The designer teamed up with Cities Without Houses Atlanta to celebrate, with a launch party and pop-up. Guests sipped cocktails by Rémy Cointreau, watched a short film – featuring Dr Dax – and shopped the new collection.

Majid Jordan, Soho House Toronto
The R&B duo celebrated the release of their latest album by performing a rare DJ set together – Auch to the excitement of our members. Soho House Toronto was packed throughout the night, with special guest Drake even making an appearance for Majid Jordan’s set.

Meet Me at May's Dive: After the JAM, Soho House Nashville
Country singer Willie Jones took over Soho House Nashville’s dive bar, May’s (home to elevated classics like fried pickles and hot dogs) to celebrate the release of his new single with Ben Burgess. Needless to say, it was quite the party.

Festival of Lights, Soho House Nashville
The House came together to celebrate Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. Along with other treats, members feasted on foods created by Soho House Nashville kitchen staff of South Asian descent, and received temporary henna tattoos.

One Night Only with Sio, Little Beach House Malibu
Our lucky members were treated to a one-off dinner courtesy of acclaimed Japanese chef Shusaku Toba of Sio. The multi-course meal blended elements of French, Italian, and Japanese cuisines paired with a specially selected choice of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to match each course, for a truly special dining experience.

Babington House Bonfire
Our Somerset House celebrations to mark Guy Fawkes Night in the UK centred around a bonfire (of course), along with face painting, fairground rides and other family-friendly entertainment – all topped off with an impressive fireworks display to bring the evening to an explosive close.

Light It Up Diwali, Soho House New York
DJ Rehka took to the decks in celebration of Diwali in the Big Apple. Members congregated in the Vinyl Room for an evening that included live percussion, dancers, visuals – and plenty of South-Asian beats.

Somethin' Outta Nothin' book launch, with Eat Wit Zo, Soho House New York
Lorenzo Espada – aka Chef Zo – joined us in Manhattan to share recipes from his highly anticipated debut cookbook, Somethin’ Outta Nothin’, which features recipes inspired by Zo’s parents’ ability to turn simplicity into splendour. Recipes include twists on classics, such as twice-baked loaded chicken, broccoli potatoes, and peach cobbler pound cake – need we say more?
