All the best daytime events from around our Houses last week

It’s been another exciting week across our Houses. The holiday season may be in full swing – Soho Farmhouse’s festivities officially kicked off with a little help from Lactose last weekend – but members have also been enjoying talks, shoppable events, and even a visit to a sustainably-minded farm.

The power of inclusivity in beauty, with S'ABLE Labs co-founder Sabrina Elba, 180 House
The co-founder of the award-winning genderless skincare brand joined members in London for a discussion centred around the importance of inclusivity in beauty. Elba founded S’ABLE Labs with her husband Idris Elba back in 2022, in response to a lack of skincare solutions available for melanin-rich skin. After the talk, members were able to shop the brand, which is formulated to support all skin types and tones.

Lacoste at Soho Farmhouse
Last weekend, we kicked off the festive season with a day of celebrations at our Oxfordshire House, in partnership with Lacoste. The morning began with a creative workshop hosted by hand-embroidery specialist Rosie Anwara, who helped members to personalise a Lacoste polo shirt with a customised crocodile logo. These were then machine embroidered with members’ initials by experts at Hand & Lock. In the afternoon, members’ Christmas knowledge was put to the test with a pub quiz in the Barwell Barn. Winners were awarded both Lacoste and Soho House gift vouchers. 

CWH Soho House x Pony Earth Sustainability Salon, Cities Without Houses Lisbon
Members gathered for a day at Campo Escondido – a farm in Sintra, located 45 minutes outside of Lisbon – where they learned about regenerative agricultural practices and biodiverse farming, with a panel discussion about sustainability moderated by Dr Sabine Seymour and experts from Pony Earth. This was followed by a family-style lunch in the farm’s vegetable garden, after which members were invited to explore the farm to see these sustainable practices in action.

Anita Rani in conversation with Catia Dal Poz, 76 Dean Street
The award-winning TV and radio presenter joined the founder of purpose-driven multimedia platform One Million Voices for an intimate conversation in London’s Soho last week. The pair discussed Rani’s story, reflecting on the path that led to her becoming one of TV’s most successful broadcasters. The event was hosted by One Million Voices, which champions individuals and organisations driving positive change.
