Artist Tom Sachs takes off
Last weekend, the multimedia artist and designer launched his Rocket Factory NFT collection and ‘Furniture’ exhibition in Chicago for the first time

Known for his American contemporary multimedia work, artist Tom Sachs opened his Furniture exhibition alongside the Rebuild Foundation and Anthony Gallery at the Stony Island Arts Bank last weekend in Chicago. Gallerist Easy Otabor, artist Theaster Gates and Sachs sat down at the exhibit for an intimate conversation about their creative process, staying inspired, and putting in the work.
Tom Sachs: Rocket Factory, the artist’s NFT venture, also launched for the first time in Chicago. Fans and members inspired by his engineer science mind and minimal modern design joined us at the House afterwards for a celebration dinner.
The Furniture exhibition will be on display from now until 4 September at the Stony Island Arts Bank.
