Soho House and Bombay Sapphire hosted artist Adeshola Makinde to participate in their Artist In Residence programme. With the Music Room as his site of creative engagement, Makinde has spent his time at Soho House culling through the history of Black culture in America and the visual patterns of cyclical, systemic issues. He speaks about his practice and experience as the House’s latest resident creator.
