How do I get there?
Members and guests are responsible for arranging their own transport to Soho House Toronto on Friday, September 3. All guests will be taken to the camp together via a bus that will leave promptly at 12pm. Members and guests are more than welcome to make their own way to the camp if they prefer, but do let us know in advance if you plan on doing this.
What does the CAD$800 ticket price per person include?
The price includes a two-night stay in a shared cabin, food and drinks, bedding, and all activities.
Why does the payment link show $640?
The price is converted from CAD to US dollars. The cost of the trip is US$640 and CAD$800.
When do I need to pay by?
As soon as you book a spot, we’ll send you a payment link and ask that all transactions are made by Friday, August 20. Payments made later than this may result in you losing your place.
Will I have my own bathroom?
Bathrooms are shared by guests within each cabin.
Can my guests be non-members?
Yes. Please note, all guests must be 21 years and above.
Is the weekend child or dog friendly?
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children or pets.
What food and drink will you be providing?
There will be a welcome dinner on Friday, three meals on Saturday and a farewell breakfast on Sunday, plus cocktails by Bacardí throughout the weekend.
Will you cater to dietary requirements?
Yes, if you have dietary restrictions, please let us know.
Can I smoke in the cabins?
Smoking is not permitted in any of the cabins.
Can I arrive later on Friday or a day later?
All members and guests must arrive at the camp by 5pm on Friday, September 3.
Can I use my credits?
Members can use their credits for the weekender, but they must cover the entire amount of the trip, i.e. CAD$800. Please note, credits are not transferable and cannot be used to cover the place of a non-member.
What do I need to bring?
· Masks to wear while interacting with others and at gatherings
· Warm clothing, as it can get quite cool at night
· Walking/ running/ hiking shoes
· Yoga mat for wellbeing activities
· Additional snacks and water for in between meals
· Water bottle
What are Soho House and Camp Tamakwa doing with regards to COVID-19?
Soho House will implement appropriate measures geared towards reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission at the premises, in accordance with government guidelines. All members and guests are expected to comply with these safety measures, which include, but are not limited to, applying distancing measures to seating arrangements, accommodating a maximum number of households and/ or attendees in each cabin, and providing for a maximum total number of attendees at the event.
We ask that you assist us with the planning by ensuring that all attendees comply with these COVID-19 requirements. This may include checking that you and your guests are free of symptoms and have not travelled to high-risk areas in the previous 14 days, making sure that all attendees have complied with any quarantine requirements, and obtaining signed waivers to confirm this compliance.
All members and guests will be required to submit a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of departure.
