Soho House Awards: Video Recap | Soho House

From the winner's speeches and live performances to all the vibes from the afterparty – here's your exclusive look at one star-studded evening

Tuesday 6 September   By Soho House

Created to celebrate the achievements of both emerging and established talents across the creative industries in the past year, the inaugural Soho House Awards – in partnership with Sky – took place on Thursday 1 September.

Alongside the full line-up of winners and presenters, we invited guests to join us at the intimate ceremony. There, we raised a glass to the shapeshifters and creative leaders in music, film, art, design and other categories – including the 59% Gen Now Award, created in partnership with Daniel Kaluuya and his production company – as they accepted their gongs, in the form of a Golden Picante

Soho House Magazine cover stars Evan Mock, John Boyega and Ellie Bamber were in attendance, with master of ceremonies and host Stanley Tucci doing the honours. Other guests included fashion pioneers, Bianca Saunders, Harris Reed and Samuel Ross – not to mention on-screen favourites Michaela Coel, Paapa Essiedu and newcomer Anson Boon.

After the show, which included performances by Michael Kiwanuka, Self Esteem and poet Hussain Manawer, guests enjoyed an afterparty at London’s 180 House, where they indulged in free-flowing champagne and cocktails courtesy of Patrón.
